Joseph Berger's memoir describes his life in and the conditions inside the L'viv (a.k.a. L'wow, L'vov) ghetto, his separation from his family, his deportation to Buchenwald, his transfer to a work camp in L'viv and his subsequent escape, his liberation, and his reunion with of one of his daughters after the war.
